Romance for flute, Op. 7 by Jacques Durand arranged by Kenneth Smith (Score)

This beautiful piece is among many composed, around the turn of the 20th century, for or under the inspiration of the great French flute player and teacher Paul Taffanel. This and many other such works, highlights of the French Romantic tradition, were recorded by flautist Kenneth Smith and pianist Paul Rhodes, and were issued on the Divine Art label as a 3 CD set (DDA21371). New performing editions have been prepared by Ken Smith and several other similar works are in preparation. Kenneth Smith was for many years principal flute with the Philharmonia Orchestra in London until his retirement from that post in 2012.

Both the flute and piano parts are included separately.
